Our signature ’40-min full body’ class will bring the intensity, power, sweat, shake and burn to every workout! Done on state-of-the-art Megaformers (M3-S), these machines provide constant resistance and infinitely more exercise options than a traditional reformer. The M3-S allows the body to shift quickly and smoothly from one exercise to another while increasing the heart rate and getting the blood pumping. The Megaformer attacks each and every muscle in a concentrated and focused manner to sculpt strong, powerful and lean bodies in a safe and measured way.

WHAT TO WEAR: Yoga-inspired apparel. Socks required (grip preferred).

ride & glide

The best of both worlds! Our 50-minute Ride & Glide class you will burn fat, gain lean muscle and leave in a sweat!  Ignite your blood flow by starting with an intense, heart pumping 25-min Indoor Cycling class, then move onto the M3-S for 25-min of a PPLJ workout to strengthen, lengthen and tone your entire body! Ride & Glide will not leave a muscle untouched!

WHAT TO WEAR: Cycle with either your athletic or cycling shoes (SPD clips needed). For the Full Body portion please wear socks (with grips preferred). We provide towels.

true beginner

This slower paced more technical class is great if you’re new to PPLJ and the M3-S machine. In 40-min you will be lead in a small group (6 and under), the essential 10 PPLJ Full Body exercises with more time for major modifications and variations. This is a great introduction to PPLJ, however this class is only meant to be taken 1 to 2 times before advancing to the Full Body Signature class.

3 Months Unlimited – Reoccurring $199/month – UNLIMITED PACKAGE – Sign a contract to commit to 3 months of ab perfection with unlimited classes (1x a day) for only $199. $209 – Revolving 10-Pack  – This 10 CLASS contract consists of a total of three 10-packs. After you use your last class in each 10-pack, your account will be automatically be charged for your next 10-pack. A minimum of 3 pay cycles required. This package will auto-renew. studio policies

cancellation policy

To ensure all clients the opportunity to take class, a 12-hr cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged, no exceptions. A $15 Late Fee will be charged to the to the credit card on file if a class is canceled after 12-hrs.

There is a charge of $25 for NO-SHOWS to classes. This means if you are signed up for class and don’t show, you will be charged the no-show fee. If you are unable to make your scheduled class please cancel your spot and give other members the courtesy of signing up.

For safety and sanitary purposes, PPLJ requires that all clients wear socks during class. Although not required, grip socks are recommended. We sell a variety of grip socks at the studio if you choose to purchase them.

late policy

We get it, we all run late occasionally. If you are registered for class and are running late, please call us so we can either save your spot or give it to a client waiting. Due to the nature of our 40-min classes, we do have a strict 5-min ‘late policy’. If we have not heard from you and you’re more than 5-min late to your scheduled class, your spot will be given to the first person on the waitlist or walk-in.

Pilates Plus La Jolla has some of the finest and most professional trainers in San Diego, all of whom are experts at teaching Lagree Fitness and Indoor Cycling workouts. Each trainer has their own distinct style and background, so we suggest that you take sessions with several of them to find the best fit for you. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME at PILATES PLUS LA JOLLA – SHOULD I DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FIRST?

The best way to learn Lagree Fitness is to jump right in and take a class. Our classes are small, no more than 10 people, so you will get personalized attention during your workout. Your instructor will give an overview before class and he or she will coach and give direction on all the exercises, including what the modifications are for each one. We are always aware when it’s someone’s first time in class, however, if you have an injury or in the early stages of pregnancy, it is recommended to take a private session first. We also offer a ‘True Beginner’ class if you prefer to start in a smaller learning environment going over the machine and exercise basics.

I HAVE NEVER WORKED OUT BEFORE, WILL I BE ABLE TO DO THE CLASS?

We’re thrilled you’re thinking about getting into shape with us. Lagree Fitness is a very efficient and effective way to burn fat and build muscle. The class is definitely challenging, and if you haven’t worked out in a long time, or ever, you will have to take more breaks in class and that’s ok. We promise you’ll want to come back for more!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

– A water bottle. We have purified drinking water available and also sell Boxed Water is Best for $3. – Wear comfortable workout clothes. For the grip benefit and health of everyone, socks are required. We sell many styles and colors of grip socks at the studio if you’d like to purchase a pair. – Jewelry is NOT a good idea. – NO cellphones during classes. Be respectful of others and give yourself this 40-min! – NO strong perfumes as some students are allergic. – A POSITIVE attitude!!

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME?

The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover. We recommend three times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. But some students love the workout so much that they come 5 or 6 times a week. It’s up to you, but please remember to listen to your body.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, especially if this is your first time.

WHAT IF I CAN’T COME TO CLASS I’VE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR? WILL I BE CHARGED?

We require a 12-hour notice before making any kind of changes to yourschedule. Any change after 12-hrs is considered a ‘late cancel’ and is subject to a $15 fee. If you are registered for class and don’t show, you will be charged a $25 ‘no-show’ fee. These fees are not for us to make money; it pays the trainer who could have potentially had another client in your spot. There are few exceptions, but if you have an emergency please call or email us as soon as you can.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE CLASSES?

Online, see above link, by downloading our free iPhone/iPad App Pilates Plus La Jolla or the Mindbody Connect App! We recommend all our members get familiar with our automated online booking system (MindBody Online) here www.pilatespluslajolla.com or by visiting the iTunes App Store and downloading our free scheduling app for iPhones or iPads! These two ways are the easiest, fastest, and most accurate ways to book classes. You create one username/password that will work with both scheduling options.

WILL MY SPOT BE GIVEN AWAY IF I’M LATE FOR CLASS?

Yes, if you 5 minutes late to class your spot is open for someone else who may be waiting. It is very important to arrive on time so you get the full workout and don’t disrupt class.

WHAT IF I’M WAIT-LISTED FOR A CLASS, BUT GET INTO ANOTHER?

We recommend you do not sign up for more than one class. If you end up getting into two classes you are subject to being charged the no-show fee.
