The best way to learn Lagree Fitness is to jump right in and take a class! With no more than 16 people per session, you’ll receive personalized attention in a supportive and welcoming environment. Our instructors, known for their passion and knowledge, will give a detailed overview before class and guide you through each exercise, offering modifications tailored to your needs. We’re always aware when it’s someone’s first time, so you’ll feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
If you’re recovering from an injury or in the early stages of pregnancy, we recommend starting with a private session for a customized approach. You can also opt for a semi-private session and bring a loved one along for extra support and encouragement.
Prefer a smaller group setting? Our 'Foundations of Lagree Beginner' class is perfect for learning the basics while getting the same personalized attention that makes every workout at Pilates Plus so impactful.
Whether it’s your first session or your fiftieth, we’re here to help you leave class feeling strong, accomplished, and ready for more. Let us know how we can support you!

Absolutely! At Pilates Plus La Jolla, we understand that starting a new fitness regimen can be intimidating, especially if you're new to Lagree. That's why we offer our "Foundations of Lagree" class, specifically designed to help beginners get acquainted with the Megaformer, Lagree exercises, and spring changes.
In this 25-minute class, clients will have the opportunity to move at a reduced pace, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the equipment and movements at a comfortable level. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each exercise, ensuring proper form and technique.
The Foundations of Lagree class serves as an excellent preparation for our standard 40-minute Lagree classes, allowing clients to build confidence and strength gradually.

We’re thrilled you’re thinking about getting into shape with us. Lagree Fitness is a very efficient and effective way to burn fat and build muscle. The class is definitely challenging, and if you haven’t worked out in a long time, or ever, you will have to take more breaks in class and that’s ok. We promise you’ll want to come back for more!

The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover. We recommend 3X/week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. But some clients love the workout so much that they come 5 or 6 times a week. It’s up to you, but please remember to listen to your body.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
If you’re new: Arriving early gives you time to meet your instructor, get an overview of the machine, and ask any questions before class begins.
If you’re a member: Use the extra time to settle in, fill your water bottle, and prepare for a great workout.
Being early ensures you’re ready to make the most of your class experience!

Yes! If you are 5 minutes late to class your spot is open for someone who may be waiting. It is very important to arrive on time so you get the full workout and don’t disrupt class.
